I work in a warehouse at the moment, driving a forklift.

WHY I LOVE FASHION:
Fashion? Where do I begin? I like to make a statement with my clothes. It’s walking art. The great YSL [Yves Saint Laurent] once said, "Fashion was not only supposed to make women beautiful, but to reassure them, to give them confidence, to allow them to come to terms with themselves." Fashion does that for me! I’m normally a quiet person, but I love to make a statement with my clothes. It’s the only way I can truly express myself.

THE FASHION ICON I MOST IDENTIFY WITH IS:
Lady Gaga, because we both use clothing to make statements and to express ourselves, which is what fashion is for!

IF I WERE AN ITEM OF CLOTHING OR ACCESSORY, WHAT WOULD I BE AND WHY?
I would be a plain white tee, because it’s comfy and you can wear it with anything. Dressed up or down, it always comes in handy.

WHY I LOVE TORRID:
I love Torrid because it gives plus-size girls clothes that are flattering, and we don’t have to worry about fitting into jeans that are too small and uncomfortable. The clothes fit us perfectly without muffin tops. It was so difficult for me to find clothes that fit properly before I discovered Torrid. It’s given me the confidence to wear anything, because it was made for me!

WHAT ELSE?
Modeling has been a dream of mine that I have been trying to accomplish for about three years now, and I want to use my modeling to empower girls. I want them to feel confident and to inspire them to reach for the galaxies, not just the stars. I want them to live big and dream big. I want to show girls that they can do anything they put their minds to. And I want to do this one curve at a time.
