OMG! It was so tough picking just 10 girls who give something back to the world, are uber-connected online and rock our socks off with their style that we ended up picking 12.

As our very first Fashion Advisory Panel, these lucky girls will be showing off their style and savvy by putting together fashion looks for Torrid and contributing trend info and fashion tips through blogging submissions and videos—coming soon!

Each winner will also receive $1,000* in Torrid gift cards (one $250 gift card per quarter, for one year) and a free makeup kit from Milani.

Hey High School Fashionistas!

Thank you for entering the Hi School Model Search. We would like to take this time to say WOW! We had SOO many great entries and all of you were absolutely fabulous. The finalists were chosen based on how involved they are within their community, how connected they are online and how they incorporate fashion into their life.

This was an extremely hard process for us, as there were SO MANY of you who surpassed our expectations. Also we want to say, PLEASE don’t be discouraged. You are fabulous and although you were not chosen this year, the possibilities don’t end here. You can try out again next year or if you graduate high school in 2010 you can enter our regular model search (summer 2010). Also, if your passion is to become a Torrid model you can apply to model for Torrid.com.

Again, thank you so much for coming out and entering the Hi School Model Search. Know that there’s always a place for all of you in our Torrid heart :)
