I love Torrid because, no matter what, I can always find something cute and flattering. I can find something to go out in or even something nice to wear to an interview. It’s a one-stop shop!

I love my wide leg trousers, my black fedora and my throwback, four-year-old pastel-green halter dress with embroidery.

How did you become a Torrid.com model?
I submitted online; however, the first time I sent my photos I did not get a go-see. They weren’t the most flattering, so I can understand. After one year, I resubmitted, and I was booked for a go-see. At my go-see, I got booked right away and that was two years ago!

Most difficult moment in front of the camera:
I think that the most difficult moment I have is just changing up the poses. Torrid is leading the way for plus-size fashion, and it’s always changing. I must be a student and always look for ways to keep up with trends.

Favorite moment in front of the camera:
Laughing and joking around. I love blooper pictures! I wish, one day, we could show everyone.

Advice for girls who want to be plus-size models:
Lovely ladies, be persistent! Don’t let one bad day determine the next. Stay positive, and always keep your chin up.
